Meet #7 Shore Athletic Club in Holmdel 10/26

Hi all,

This Sunday (10/26) our atheletes will be competing in the Shore Athletic ClubChampionships in Holmdel Park 44 Longstreet Road, Holmdel NJ.

Girls and boys will race together.  9/10 and 11/12will race together and be scored together.  Race day start time is at 9:00am with 400m and 800m for littles ones first.

OUR APPROXIMATE RACE TIMES:

2K race   (2017-2018)         9:15 am

3K race (2016-2013)           9:30 am

4k race (2012-2011             9:45 am

There is ample parking available.   Look for the Westwood Track & Field/XC flags near the main shelter/bathroom.  Nancy & Courtney will have bibs and safety pins.  The starting line is beyond the shelter in the field and the finnish line will be in the field across the road from the parking lot.

There will be an awards ceremony & refreshments after the races.  Top 20 boys and girls in each race will recieve a medal.  Top 3 boys and girls in each race will receive a trophy!

Runners will wear their Westwood singlet (tank top) and black shorts/pants to race in but please have them dress to keep warm while they are waiting for their race to start.  Please arrive 45min-1 hour prior to your scheduled race time to ensure enough time to park and warm up.  Feel free to bring chairs, tents and snacks (for after the race!)
